I made millionaire's shortbread yesterday.

Really easy, looks fab, and everyone loves it.

Yes,

Shortbread - 9oz / 250g Plain Flour
3oz / 75g caster sugar
6oz / 175g butter

Caramel - 4oz / 100gbutter or marg
4oz / 100g light muscovado sugar
2 can condensed milk

Topping - 7oz / 200g chocolate (melted)

Make the shortbread, and press down into a tin (about 13 X 9 inches) then cook on 180 for about 20 mins.

Melt the caramel ingredients, bring to the boil (while stiring), and then simmer and stir for 5 minutes. Pour into the shortbread and then melt the chocolate and cover the cooled caramel.

Good luck

Mars Bar Krispie Cake.

for an average 'tray' full:

6 standard mars bars (roughly chopped)
6oz butter
6oz rice krispies

melt butter and mars bars (in microwave or in bowl over boiling water), stir to a smooth gloop, stir in rice krispies, pack into tray, allow to cool and then cut up.

I always do little fairly cakes/buns as it's easier for the sellers than slicing things up

hunnybun1981 · 13/03/2009 11:40

they r selling them in a market and sending us home boxes so we will be doing all the dividing up

it will be one for the box and one for me to eat, yeh mars bar buns sound yum too thanks
