Bought or home-made? And do you prefer different ones for tea and coffee?

Foxes Butter Crinkle Crunch are my favourite biscuits.

Lovely.

You can't really dunk them though.

A ginger biscuit for dunking is very good though.

sheilatakeabow · 06/03/2009 22:25

The free ones you get woth Rombouts (spl?) coffee

Stinkyfeet · 06/03/2009 22:28

Not sure about favourite for now, but I'm always unexpectedly surprised by a good old digestive!

Although M & S luxury selection boxes are always good as well!

saadia · 06/03/2009 22:30

I like Waitrose Jammie Dodgers and those pink wafer biscuits.

CharCharGabor · 06/03/2009 22:32

I like ginger biscuits. And fig rolls. And chocolate hobnobs. No plain ones though, yuck!

southeastastra · 06/03/2009 22:33

im not a biscuit person

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 06/03/2009 22:37

SEA, this is a thread for biscuit people.

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 06/03/2009 22:39

Pink wafers get stuck on your tongue in a curious way. I think it's their sole redeeming feature.

I don't drink tea, but I'd have different biscuits for coffee and for milk. Chocolate biscuits in milk. Like a good choc chip cookie.

swissmiss · 06/03/2009 22:42

chocolate hobnobs with a glass of milk !

BriansAmazingBeard · 06/03/2009 22:44

sports biscuits

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 06/03/2009 22:45

What's a sports biscuit?

(sounds dangerously healthy if you ask me...)

random · 06/03/2009 22:46

chocolate hob nobs

MargaretMountford · 06/03/2009 22:47

sports biscuits are a bit like malted milks , no ?
I love a plain old biscuit - rich tea or arrowroot or morning coffee, but I suppose a Viennese biscuit would be my favourite, or stem ginger cookies,or my own shortbread

BriansAmazingBeard · 07/03/2009 08:55

football

cycling

you have never lived till you had a sports biscuit

M&S Dutch Shortbread

SamVimesIsMyHero · 07/03/2009 09:04

Chocolate digestives
Jaffa cakes
Shortbread (especially the round ones with brown sugar round the edge...drroooool)

Best non-choc biscuit is the ginger nut. Can't be beaten, I live off them when I'm ill.

Thunderduck · 07/03/2009 09:32

I love both bought or home made.

Rich tea for dunking, or chocolate digestive.

I love ginger thins.

Caramel Rockies.

Nice biscuits.

Jaffa Cakes.

Shortbread.

Custard Creams.

Tunnock's Teacakes.

Anything really.

biscuitsmustbedunkedintea · 08/03/2009 15:43

Custard creams

M & S sultana cookies

Chocolate malted milks (cream filled sandwich malted milks used to be my favourite but seeing as I ate a packet in one sitting once, I now tell myself I hate them and dismiss them from my mind)

Chips Ahoy cookies (american) and only if served with a glass of milk.

Cafe Noir on special occasions

worst biscuits to ever grace a biscuit barrell
Fig rolls

Pink wafers (sorry MMOC)

Jaffa cakes (sorry everyone)

Those ones that look like they have dead spiders squashed in them, then rolled in sugar (shrewsbury?)
