Having guests for Sunday lunch and am going to do pasta, as needs to be something I am not slaving away over for ages.

Want to do something a bit special/impressive/yum-a-licious.

But what?

Can't do seafood pasta as my friend makeas a really good version of this. Not lasagne, either.

Any suggestions?

Thank you so much.

Fish sauce (where you serve the fish after the pasta with slad, but it'll all nade in one pot)?

Squid sauce (same principle, but more adventurous)

I know you said no seafood, but these may be different.

Chorizo sauce (I lurve this, nd its unsusual)

Dolcelatte and purple sprouting broccoli

Do any of these ring your bell? If so I'll ppost a recipe.

Okay not sure if this suits.
Broccoli & sausage DH's recipe Sooo easy

onion chopped
Sausages cut into I inch pieces
Broccoli into little florets
A little olive oil
parmesan cheese

Fry the onion for 1 min add sausages, 2 mins then add broccoli. Stir. Fry until Broccoli slightly charred and crisp.
Any pasta shapes.
Drain pasta & mix and sprinkle alot of Parmesan cheese.

To make it posh farmers market sausages & big thin curls of cheese good wine and bread with olives inside. Add anti pasta from some where like waitrose and say it was in a small place in blah blah flowers on the table and more wine Should do it.

There's a fab Jamie Oliver recipe (I think ?) with ribbons of pasta, leeks in a creamy sauce with a sea bass fillet on top. Its yummy

Will have a look through my books if you're interested
