I want to make them for me and ds to eat/scoff - I am 7 months pregnant and love to snack and whenever ds sees me eating a biscuit he wants one too

Add abit of apple/grape etc juice and a little sugar.

Cinnamon makes things seem sweeter. I usually just add less sugar than the recipe states for things I make for DCs.

Drop scones/pancakes are gorgeous and don't contain any sugar (till you put some yummy jam on them that is).

Flapjack can be made without too much sugar especially if you follow the juice tip.

Oven scones also yum, easy to make and no or very little sugar (can be made with wholemeal flour too).

Will post recipes later but you could find any of them in a basic cook book/cooking website.

A book called 'Cooking without' has loads of sugar free recipes - but if it's just for snacks, couldn't you have something lke Philly on crackers (I favour Carr's Melts)?
