Help - Waitrose Swedish Meatballs Crisis!!!

Help!

My standard Monday dinner is meatballs and spaghetti. Waitrose sold really good Swedish style meatballs in a number of varieties (organic, beef, chicken) but I can't remember whose make they were (despite buying them every week for years...)

My local has now stopped stocking them, replaced with a new variety which are yucky (soft and squishy, unpleasant texture, nasty falvour) and I'm desperately trying to find a stockist.

Any help welcome!!!

sainsburys sell them - I think they sell Scan brand ones

I know the ones you mean but not the name either!! Sainsbury's did them but I haven't been there for a while so don't know if they still do.

Ah, Sainsbury - I'll have a look!

Scan could be right - but the packaging looks different.

You may just have saved my life - the stress of thinking up a different stress-free meal for Mondays was getting too much .

Waitrose aberdeen angus ones are wonderful (from the fresh beef section)

if you know anyone who goes to costco they sell a catering sise pack of swedish meatballs for about £3 or £4
I buy these and bag them up into meal size amounts in the freezer.
Dh loves things like meatball and mozzerella panini.
dd has them cooked and cold in her school lunch and also (like you) with spaghetti.
