recipe with tangerines?

what can I do with tangerines that are just the wrong side of sharp? I've got too many just to eat myself, and the dc are wincing!

Feel sure there must be a cake/ dessert recipe for using them up!

I make a delicious orange yoghurt cake, which I am sure you could swap for tangerines. Basically it's a sponge cake made with some yoghurt in as well, with orange slices on the top. If it appeals I can post the recipe.

Also, you could peel them and then simmer in a caramel syrup and eat with ice-cream.

When I grew up in the seventies, at the local WI sale one lady used to make a flan base and then put tangerine son top with a kind of glaze thing, almost with jelly. Yum. But don't have the recipe, sorry.
