Freezing meat

This may be really obvious but as I'm a veggie i'm completely hopeless when it comes to freezing times for meat/fish. DS has not been brought up veggie and I recently bought some pork mince and cooked it on it's sell-by date then froze it all. This was about 2 months ago and now i'm not sure if it's still OK to use.

I'm not too good with things like this either but I'm sure you are safe with keeping it for at least one month. I'm sure it is still safe for 2 months and I keep mine for about 6 but I'm sure some mums out there will tell me if I'm wrong.

Never refreeze raw meat. Buy it fresh and if you freeze it fresh and then defrost it never put it back in the freezer raw. You can refreeze cooked meat however.

Should be absolutely fine! Just heat it right through for a bit longer to be on the safe side.

Length of time frozen will affect taste and texture - but will not be a problem 'safety' wise. As long as it is eaten the same day it is de-frosted then it will be no different from eating it on the original sell-by date.
