Flapjack recipe with honey

I've heard people using honey instead of golden syrup in a flapjack recipe ??

Has anyone tried it & do you use the same quantity of honey as g/syrup ??

As ds & dh have given up chocolate for Lent I need a sweet lunchbox treat
