Risotto in the slow cooker?

Can you do it? I'd quite like to put it on when putting DCs to bed rather than standing at the hob like a numpty...

I always thought risottos needed stirring, so I would have thought not? Prepared to be corrected though!

Plus with risottos you need to keep adding liquid as the rice cooks and expands?

Yes you can do it, takes about 1.5 hours so you can't leave it on all day, I do a nice salmon and broadbean one in the slow cooker. I have also done the Delia oven version too. Neither is quite as nice as being done on the cooker, not sure why but still pretty good.
