My dd 2 is allergic to egg - but my older dd loves pancakes - any brainwaves on how I can make pancakes of some kind without egg in them?

I got this from an allergy book - works well, use it every year for my egg-allergic boys 300g plain flour, 2 tablespoons arrowroot powder, 300ml milk. mix the two powders together, blend in the milk to give a smooth batter. Leave to rest for 20mins then fry as usual. The odd lump you get seems to disappear when you cook them - the boys love them!

never come across arrowroot - do you know where to buy it?

thanks - pancakes were enjoyed by all x
