Should I have just chucked it out?

I had some fish pie mix in the fridge. I bought it on Tuesday night. I made a fish pie from it and amd now wondering if I'm going to poison DH and myself. It didn't smell funny and it looked alright. It's in the oven just now. I just didn't get round to using it till today.

Well, if there's no smell and it looked ok, it probably is ok. Fish does reek when it's past its best.

Was there a sell by date on it?

No, it was from the fish monger.
