Do homemade sauasge rolls face the wrath of mumsnet?

Because I have just made some for our picnic tomorrow and they are fab.

Oh its worth it TSAP and I'm not much of a meat eater but they are very moreish . Actually, I fancy trying a veggie type recipe with cheese filling - will start another post to see if anyone has a recipe!

They are so easy to do that I do not understand how anyone who has basic playdough skills level one (all mums) can live with themselves and bung frozen nasties into the oven. Yackity yack!

I love a sausage roll. Had one of these at the weekend and it was completely delicious.

Veggie version of Delia's sausage rolls

Have mine in the oven now and have just made a version of the veggie filling to go in next (I used a mixture of bits of cheese I had in the fridge, so cheddar and a blue cheese. The sausage rolls smell and look fab! Will report back about the veggie ones which could become my 'bring a dish' staple if they are successful
