Come on, own up, whose idea was the 'deadliest chocolate cake in the world' recipe?

After eating my third one this week I am well and truly pissed off. Last week I was half a lb off reaching my target weight. Now I am 4! I would like to stuff whoever's head it was that came up with this recipe into my 'tall coffee mug' and cook you in the microwave for 2.5 minutes. What a thoroughly irrisponsible thing to do. Do you have anything to say for yourelf?

Whoever came up with cake should be taken out and shot. .

I add grated Belgian chocolate to mine by the way.

PerArduaAdNauseum · 21/02/2009 20:45

I'm eating some now. But 3 spoons cocoa and 3 sugar, with cinnamon instead of vanilla. Mmmmmmmmmm....

TheBreastmilksOnMe · 21/02/2009 20:45

lucysmam · 21/02/2009 21:23

lol, thank you ladies. It took ages! I have a pic of my Playboy bunny to put up tomorrow at some point as well

bellavita · 21/02/2009 21:29

Did you make that for yourself and family lucy or was it to order?

I would really like to have a go at making and decorating cakes, but DH doesn't eat them, although his work put in requests now and again for cakes.

lucysmam · 21/02/2009 21:33

Nope, I made it all myself apart from a few of the animals which I bought as they looked like they were having who had the biggest penis competitions!

It was my first one as well

bellavita · 21/02/2009 21:35

lucy - I know you made it all by yourself - you is a big girl,I meant did you make it for you and your family to eat it or was it for someone who had ordered a cake?

lucysmam · 21/02/2009 21:37

oooooh, just for us, for Lucy's 2nd birthday last month. I wish it was for someone else, could do with the cash for the phone bill

bellavita · 21/02/2009 21:40

My birthday isn't for ages yet, but I am going to ask DH and the boys to get me a cake decorating book.

lucysmam · 21/02/2009 21:43

I got the idea out of one but couldn't afford to get random tins so got a roasting tin from the £1 shop (shhhhh, don't tell anyone!) & used a loaf tin to make the cakes for the hut on top of the cake.

I got a really nice book yesterday, got some lovely wedding-ey ideas in it which is what I was after & some simple instructions for how to do them

bellavita · 21/02/2009 21:48

am ok on the tin front (I think), it is just all the other bits n bobs like marzipan and icing etc that I am sure bump the cost up.

Might just have a look on the tinternet for something easy.

Are you going to be making a wedding cake then (for you?)

lucysmam · 21/02/2009 21:51

Yup, making our wedding cake for Sept this year (hopefully), we have to confirm the date yet but can't do that until we've saved enough to at least pay the deposit
