I have got a portion of cottage pie in the freezer that I want to give to DS for his tea tomorrow night. What is the safest way to defrost it:
- Put it in the fridge now?
- Get it out of the freezer tomorrow morning and leave at room temp?
- Defrost in the microwave at teatime tomorrow?
Thanks, I am a veggie so am clueless about food hygiene when it comes to meat!
