Can I make a toasted sandwhich on a George foreman style griddle?

I really fance a cheese and onion toasted sandwich (not cheese on toast). I have no sandwich toaster. I am sure I saw that you could do this in my george foreman book...

Yes. I have never tried myself, but there was a thread on this only a couple of days ago and it is possible. Bon Apetite!

Absolutely - we do it all the time.

Just make the sandwich as normal (no need to put butter on the outside IMHO...)

Then toast for about 2-3 minutes until cheese melts.

Top tip - don't put your filling too close to the edges of the inside, as it will spred when toasted & 'leak'
