Easy 'dry' food for 2yo

Want some ideas of new things to try to expand DS's repertoire (not that he will try anything new 99% of the time). He prefers 'dry' food that he can pick up with his hands -- absolute favourites are toast or anything bready, and fish fingers. Stuff in sauce is generally a no-no and he won;t touch pasta.

We don't eat meat, and he is allergic to egg.

Any ideas please?

oatcakes? with things on?
grilled or fried tofu?

this is not my easiest subject as i have a thing about 'dry' food - i don't like it!

redwood do some nice 'sausages' that are meat and egg free

Thanks Franny, I hadn't thought of veggie sausages. I personally find tofu minging but could give it a go!

Pitta bread strips with fillings inside.
Homemade chicken and fish nuggets
potato wedges

My DS loves new potatoes. I just put them in a bowl with a tablespoon of water and microwave them for 5 mins.

I generally serve with peas or sweetcorn and something like ham or fish fingers.
