Just got a --new-- rather old slow cooker from freecycle... recipies please

picked it up tonight

what yummy things can i cook in it?

as well as normal recipies any gluten and dairy free recipies would be handy too!

it has high and low setting if it makes a difference?

Mine only has one setting and I sometimes have the impression that the food is boiled rather than left to simmer. So I would experiment but probably go for the low setting if I were you. Sausages in my slo cooker are completely inedible. They taste like tinned frankfurters. Yuk. Clearly this is the "boiled" taste.
