Anyone given cows milk before 1 year?

Just wondering if 1 year is still the general rule for giving milk and if you all stick to it!!

I ti still the recommendation, not sure how closely you need to follow it.

me - DD started at 10 months (I took my lead from Mears )

I gave up BF and couldn't see the point of formula as DD was eating so well

ANtipodeans start at 9 months I believe

Stuck to it religiously with my first, and then lapsed a bit with the second. She definitly got cows milk before 1 year, and it did her no harm. I think it was from about 10 months. Shame on me

i started my ds at about 10 months at he was fine with it!

No, it's a year here as a main drink. I do know one girl who did at 10 months, that was unusual.

In Norfolk Island I saw formula for 3-7 year olds!

Started giving it to my ds at 11 months & its done him no harm.

Excellent. Ds is 10 months in a week and i was wondering why he shouldnt have milk when he'll eat anything and everything!!!

started DS at 9.5 months after he had eaten gallons of cheese sause with no ill effects.. we have no allergies in faily and I don't like the list of chemicals on formula so wanted out ASAP ...

DS needless to say is fine.... so did exact same with DD at 9 months and she too suffered zilch...

I once gave dd cows milk to drink when she was about 11 months old because I ran out of formula on a Sunday evening in the sticks and didn't have enough breat milk to offer. It did her no harm.

I gave cows milk at 6months but then I started weaning at 4months
