I thought of bubble and squeak as there is plenty of frozen veg - but how do you actually make that?

mix the veg in with the mash and fry it in pan till outside is golden and crispy. If veg is frozen you would probably be best to cook it first.

Or you could make fishcakes (tin of tuna or salmon, some spring onions and some whisked egg) and fry those in pan.

corned beef hash?

do a shepards pie?

or just fried mash with bacon and egg. And plenty of ketchup. And fried mushrooms.

fish cakes

mix in some tune or cooked salmon and bit of ketchup

or annabell karmell has a recipe where she mixes them with mince

I think I will probably just fry the mash and eat it with baked beans

fried mash is the nicest food ever.

PRobably explains why I'm the size I am though

well, i make bubble and squeak by just frying the veg a bit till it's soft. then i add in the mash and fry that up till it's golden on the edges.

you can throw in some crumbled bacon, too, or add in some shredded cheese right before it's done and melt it down.

A nice thing to do is to mix a load of grated cheese and some lightly fried onions into the mash, rough it up with a fork and bake it in the oven until crispy. Lovely with HP sauce!

you can also make a veg soup and chuck in the mash and then blend it all down with a stick blender, in a normal blender or food processor.

Another fried mash lover here. I like it mixed with chopped up ham and grated cheese and served with baked beans.
