Veggies to serve with Trout?

I'm doing a simple lemon and parsley griled trout, but what should i serve with it?

Don't want to do salad, so what sort of veg would go with it? I'd rather stick to one or maybe two kinds and add a bit of flavour to them rather than just basic steamed veg.

And also potatoes? A small blob of mash? Saute potatoes? None?

I really am no good at knowing what works when it comes to food!!

roast potatoes and something green.
spinach, peas?

Agree with roast potatoes to provide a crispy contrast to the soft trout & green veg. I have done a variety of green veg (green beans/manges tout/peas/asparagus)all mixed together and topped with roasted cherry tomatoes for a dinner party. It looks nice and would complement the trout perhaps?
