have quite a bit from a week ago which was lost at back of fridge. Would you still eat it? Smells fie. I would normally eat up to 4-5 days, usually all gone by then!

I don't think I would eat it after a week.

But ours wouldn't last a week

I'd keep for 2 days.

Deffo not a week

Def not a week, I used to test food

My initial thought was a week was quite long. But then remembered I am always surprised by the long eat by dates on cooked chicken in supermarket.

Could you do something with it that involves heating it through thoroughly? That would kill any nasties assuming it's not actually off, and if it doesn;t smell then it isn't...
