I'm feeling like chocolate and am looking for something yummy to make.

I'd like something warm, but not with big lumps of nut or anything bizzare in. Nothing that will take all night to make (no baked cheesecakes!), but something a bit rich and indulgent. I'm not frightened of a little preparation.

I like orangey chocolatey things, or just chocolatey chocolatey things.

Gooey would be good, even if only a sauce to go with.

Suggestions please

Have just made this for the second time, improved no end by cooking in a pyrex bowl for 2mins30 and substituting milk and oil for evap and dolloping a spoonful of nutella in too.

I've made the Simple Chocolate Tart from The Naked Chef three times now - it really is easy (once you've sorted the pastry - but H makes mine for me!) and veeeery chocolately. Seems like you've slaved over it.

The recipe is halfway down this page: feedmeimhungry.blogspot.com/2007/01/christmas-celebrations-part-2.html

SuzyWongs choclate brownies, but use white choc chipsinstead of waluts. (search the archives for teh recipe)

Serve warm with a dollop of ice cream and toffee squeezey ice cream sauce.

Whats more there will be more left to eat cold tomorrow.

iMum - am going to try that recipe on Monday (would do it tomorrow, but I have guests, need to be on my own for this one!)

These Magic Chocolate Puddings are great. I make a large one sometimes and there is a chocolate sauce underneath the lovely sponge when they are done - just need some ice-cream to melt over them.

Thanks everyone [smile[. My plan was thwarted when dd awoke and took the rest of the evening to settle. Maybe tonight!
