I have got a recipe for fairy cakes which needs self-raising flour. I have plain flour but I also have baking powder and bicarb of soda. Does anyone know how to turn my plain flour into self-raising flour please?

thanks.

I am by no means an expert cook but I'm sure you could just put some baking powder in with the plain flour. Does it say what ratio to put on in the side of the pot? Maybe google it..

Yes - look on the side of the baking powder tin and it will say.

Just checked for you - 4 teaspoons baking powder for 8oz/200g flour.
