I audited our freezer last week. We have about 50 meals worth (for 2 people) of food in there! Ples, bread, frozen veg, pasta sauces, odd bits for DD...

My freezer is groaning unter the amount of batch cooked stuff, i really need to empty it all out and write down whats in it.

The draws are broken though, anyone know if i can buy just draws for a freezer?

I always cook to much of everything and freeze it so i can take it to the hospital with me when we go with ds, and so dp has something to eat while im away.

Typically we haven't been to the hospital in ages!

I have upteen amouns of soup though which i eat for lunches, they are in pour and store bags i just tip them into a saucepan and heat them on low untill they are defrosted and warmed through.

I have a list of 'spare meals' taped to the inside of the larder. This is to remind me of things I can make when I have no fresh food left.

Only yesterday I used one of the toptions which I will share for your delectation.

Frozen Quorn meatballs, jar of Loyd Grossman tomato and wild mushroom sauce, and tagliatelle. I found a few rather shrivelled looking 'fresh' mushrooms which I also added as Loyd is notoriously stingy with his mushroom content.
