&can I freeze them?

I have half apacket left from last night's thai red curry but don't know what else to do with them.

Would they maybe go with tonights fish pie?
Or on a salad of some variety?

I dont know whether they will freeze.

I usually just use them up the next night as part of the veg for the meal.

You can always eat them raw with some dip, like houmous or tatziki.

They're great in any kind of green salad. Definitely good with dip too as Stirling suggests. If you cook them plain as side veggies, cook them fast and for only a minute or two - delicious.

I was going to suggest Thai curry so not much help, sorry!

Anything already suggested, or slice lengthways along with baby corn and julienne carrots and mushrooms and stir fry.

I use them in a stir fry, with other veg like thinly sliced carrots, peppers and broccoli.

You can just boil them lightly like any other vegetable too - so they would go with fish pie. All the other suggestions are great though.

thanks, I'll boil them to go with the fish pie later on. Should they still be crunchy?

Definitely.

Honestly, you want to boil them for only a couple of minutes so that they stay fresh and crunchy.

lucysmam · 05/02/2009 16:26

thanks OhBling, couple of mins while I dish up in that case & my oh can keep an eye on them for me
