Can I freeze gingerbread dough?

Have made gingerbread men for the toddlers to decorate at toddler group tomorrow. But I only needed half the dough.

Have wrapped the rest in cling film so my kids can use it. But do I need to use it up quickly, or can I freeze it for a rainy day?

Yeah, should be fine.

not sure.. but I freeze just about most things including my pasta dough.. if no one has a deffinative answer to this.. I'd cut a chunk of the dough off .. freeze it.. then thaw it and see how it turns out
