Little baby new potatoes, roasted with some garlic - yum.

Wedges?

Home made wedges. Scrub the potatoes. Slice into wedges. Heat some olive oil in the oven (200 degrees approx). Bake for around 40 minutes. I also add red onions and other veg - yummy.

Would she find root mash more tasty than plain potato? I add carrots, swede or parsnip and stir in some grated cheese. This is a quick meal.

Or how about potato salad. It goes with lots of other foods imo.

Potato wedges - No need to peel just cut in half and then each half into 2 or 3, depending on size.

Put into oven dish/baking tray. Drizzle over some olive oil and sprinkle on paprika then bake for 30/40 mins at approx 180 fan. Take out and shake around a couple of times.

You coukd try sweet potatoes too - lovely baked in their skins and then scooped out and mixed with a bit of butter and pepper.

Stirling I forgot that I used to add paprika.
For adults I sometimes added a little sprinkle of chilli powder too.

Clure my dd1 wasn't bothered about chips til she was nearly 4. In fact she still isn't a massive potato fan. Both of my dds prefer rice or pasta or bread.

I wonder if it is because we don't add salt to potatoes. I must admit that I have salt on mine, it is the only thing that I do add salt to. I don't give it to the dds though and some potato varieties can be rather bland imo.
