Cabbage?

I quite like cabbage. DH, DD and DS are not overly keen but will tolerate it. We get one every week in the veg box and I have no idea what to do with it. Does anyone have any delicious cabbage recipes.
Also, has anyone had any success with cabbage in a slow pot?
Thanks, Sam

I use cabbage occasionally In the slow cooker, when I make stew. It goes very soft, and quite a good one to disguise in with the gravy etc...
I also lightly steam, then saute in a bit of butter, season and add to mash potatoe and bits of cooked chopped bacon. Gorgeous (colcannon)??
Cabbage soup???

We have ours steamed, with a little bit of grated cheese stirred through it before serving - yummy, and makes it more palatable to children

I made this Potato and cabbage soup a couple of weeks ago and it was delicious.

Even dc enjoyed it - a great way to use up some cabbage.

Thank you - colcannon looks intriguing. I have recently started eating bacon agin after 20 years as a vegetarian so will try to find a good recipe for that.
Keep em coming
