either distance learning or college?

what was it like?

what did or are you learning?

I've been looking at one at doncaster college where I am, but it looks to be mainly concentrating on flowers & I wondered what other things they cover?

Also, has anyone done the course at doncaster college? What were the tutors and classes like?

Hope that makes sense!

Thanks

I did one with the local cake shop. I went through yellow pages and found a shop that did it. It was great and I learnt loads about basic techniques as well as sugar craft. I also went to a class once a week at the local FE college to do the flower thing, which I really enjoyed. I would really think that to do a hands on course rather than distance learning for such a practical thing has got to be the way ahead. Your tutor will be able to show you how to cover mistakes etc and give you loads of little tips on the way. Have fun.

I didn't think about the hands on thing either when I asked about distance learning Makes much more sense
