I need a recipe for rock cakes!

Can you give me your recipe as I really fancy making some?

I like these. Made them from a child. Easy
300g flour (self raising)
80g marg
120g dried fruit. I put less
80g sugar
1 egg beaten
125 milk aprox
little nutmeg
Rub the marg into the flour. add sugar,dried fruit,nutmeg and then add egg. carefuly add a little milk at a time not to make the mixture to wet. Put on greased tray in small heaps and bake at aprox 200 degrees c for 15-20 mins

Sometimes on a friday, I do these as a treat....

Triple Choc Rock Cakes

225g s/r flour
110g butter
50g gran sugar
50g each white, milk & dark choc chips
1 lrg egg
1 tbsn milk
pinch salt

sift flour & salt, rub in butter (or whizz in food processor - so much quicker).
Stir in sugar and choc, add beaten egg and milk and then bring dough together.
Dollop heaps onto greased baking tray.
Bake in preheated oven (200/180 fan/gas 6) for 12-15 mins.

These are just gorgeous still warm!!
