egg free birthday cake

If anyone has a good recipe for egg free birthday cake please can you enlighten me?
I want a tried and tested one so I know it'll be good and not come out like a biscuit as most of my previous attempts have. Any help would make a 'soon to be 2 year old' very happy. thanks.

My ds is allergic to eggs and he has had cakes in the past that are from a vegan chocolate cake recipe.

The cake contains vegetable oil, I think, which made it really moist and lovely.

Will post recipe tomorrow if no-one else comes up with one (am just off to bed!).

Alternatively, google vegan cakes.

Some good looking recipes here though have not used them myself. Will try to find the eggless chocolate cake I made.

It has condensed milk in but no egg!!
