Occasional refusal of solids

My 7mth daughter normally feeds well, but sometimes she'll throw her head back and get hysterical for no apparent reason (no new food, so a mystery?)

Any advice gratefully received! Thx.

ime this can happen when they are getting to the stage when they don't want to be spoon fed - do you give her some finger foods to play with too?
Sometimes it also helped to offer a toy - ds1 seemed to need distracting at times in order to get the food in!
Or could be too tired, or too hungry, to cope with it all....
Not unusual though. hth

Perhaps she's just not hungry?

Possibly, but she normally has a great appetite. Maybe you're right, and I'm worrying too much, as she's hardly anorexic!
