I have a bag but I'm not sure what to do with it. Any recipes?

make a pot of veg soup, then bung some in.
I use leeks, potatoes, turnip, carrots and veg stock as the base of mine. Let it cook slowly for several hours on a low heat

I'm making some of this tomorrow -soak it overnight, then use it as a base for soup. Add carrots/celery/onion or any combo of sweated veg, and then maybe some leek and potato or something?

Thanks! I've got my food shopping coming on Tuesday so I'll soak it tomorrow night to cook on Tues. If I put it in the slow cooker how long would it need to be in?

If you have a chicken carcass or a big bone from a roast leg of lamb or similar, bung that in, too. Or chuck a couple of chicken wings in. Unless you're a vegetarian of course.

Not vegetarian but never have meat on the bone. Also, I look after a vegetarian child so would probably be better to stick to meat-free then I can freeze some for him to have when he's here.
