Mashed sardines on toast - what can I add to make less dry?

Am going to try mashed sardines on toast for 14mth DS - but the sardines look a little dry - they were in sunflower oil which I drained. what can I mash them with to put on the toast? Phili? Mayo?

Mayo would be ok I think, or a bit of ketchup or salad cream ?
