Approved Out of date foods

there was a story in the DM today about how people are buying out of date foods.

we often get out of date food, mainly dry stuff like biscuits crisps etc as FIL works for a cash and carry, there are some really good deals on that website for anyone who is interested.

I could spend hours going wow that's cheap thanks for that will do an order when I get paid

but wont the crisps be soft?

no they are ok,the ones we get are anyway.

box of kandoo wipes for £1 dont know how they can go out of date.

I dont get it, how does it work? isnt it all a con?

Why would it be a con? Did you know that most non-perishable food, i.e. soda, canned etc, wasn't even dated until a few years ago? The real con is the use by date.

I wonder how they get the goods which are out of date to sell?

I didnt know non perishables had sell by dates btw..
