Am in need of some inspiration and new ideas...

Beans and egg on toast

Homemade chicken soup

Pasta with meatballs and tomato sauce.

Sorry, it's really not very inspirational is it?

DD1 - 13 / veggie /fussy

1. Sweet potato curry and naan bread
2. "Picky meal" - hoummus, salad, pitta, falafel etc
3. Roast dinner without meat or gravy but with lots of stuffing and mint sauce

DD2 - 11 / carnivore

1. Roast dinner with chicken
2. Sausages and mash
3. Lasagne - veggie chilli and rice Nothing with salad - ever!

Pasta w/ sun-dried tomato pesto
Bubble and squeak with sausages
Roast

DS 3.7
Shepherds Pie
Cauliflower cheese
Spag bol
Loves broccoli at the moment, don't know why, trying not to question it

DD 8 mths
Lovely lentils (annabel carmel)
Popeye pasta (AC)
Cauliflower cheese (mummy)

Also both love salmon fishcakes and noodle soup, modified for DD obviously.

The top three meals that BOTH of them will eat happily together are probably -

1. Pasta with roasted vege and red pesto
2. Roast (but I don't like making it OR eating it)
3. Homemade tomato soup and tiger bread, with cheese and fruit for dd2 and salad (no cheese) for dd1

Pasta with garlic and tomato home made sauce, garlic bread

Roast dinner...any meat

home made meatballs with tomato, onion and herb sauce with spaghetti

Joint top favourite is the local Turkish place, fish and chips or roast.

Not very inspiring either I'm afraid.

I forgot home-made meatballs with tagliatelle - it's her absolute favourite.

will promise not to add to this now

I forgot pizza - they both love that!

Also pizzas made using a pitta bread as the base.

DD - 14 months

Ds:

• Arista, which is a pork roast with a filling of garlic and rosemary
• home made meatballs (with tomato sauce if eaten with pasta)
• pasta with any kind of sauce. Loves spaghetti with vongole (clams?) but I never make it

Dd:

• pasta pesto
• homemade meatballs
• "pastina in brodo", which is small pasta shapes cooked in chicken or meat stock with lots of parmesan cheese.

steak and chips

and yes, both love pizza.

-crispy chicken fahitas (basically homemade chicken nuggets in a wrap with salsa or dips with big bowl of crudites some to dip and some to go in the wrap.)

Spag bog (DD2) or carbonara (dd1)

Roast dinners with any meat but including roast pots and parsnip, yorkshire puddings (frozen- aren't they wonderful!)veg and if chicken then bacon rolls, sausages and stuffing.
