How do you make an omelette?

Never made one before as we donut thought like them but it would be nice for dd

milk and eggs and then add things you want like ham and mushrooms

Beat eggs (you can add milk, but I don't), butter foaming in hot frying pan, add eggs and keep them moving with the back of a fork, tilting pan a bit to make sure it's all covered. put on any topping you want (if it needs cooking, do this first in a separate pan), then flip over one half of the omelette on to the other. Should take only a minute or so.

Jamie Oliver method suggests that if you're adding toppings that need cooking, that you fry them in the pan first, then pour your omelette mixture over it so that the egg cooks around the bacon/onion/whatever. I think that's a good, easy and tasty way to do it.

Omelettes are always better with at least a small sprinkling of cheese.
