Defrosting chicken (boring!)

OK, took chicken drumsticks out of freezer on Tues night, put in fridge to cook on wed night, but they were still half frozen. Will they be OK if I cook them tonight, and could they also be eaten cold tomorrow? Sorry, am a best before date queen and worry about stuff like this!

Yes as long as they have been in the fridge all the time they will be fine
