Lots of stuff. My kids come home starving and we don't have dinner til 7.30 when DH gets home. They have cereal, toast, maybe a sandwich or leftovers. DS1-12 often has a small tin of beans on toast. Otherwise, they have a bag of crisps or maybe some biscuits (which I rarely have in). There is always fruit and they may eat that if it's only an hour or two til dinnertime and they claim starvation.

Grizzly bar shoved in her hand as soon as she leaves the school door, toast at home if she's super hungry and a cup of milk.

Thanks everyone...i'm guessing the level of hungriness differs a lot...unfortunately mine are very very hungry..i just run out of ideas......i will be buying more bread though.....toast is a cheaper option.

Mine are always hungry after school. They usually have a couple of biscuits and a drink to keep them going until dinner time (around 5.30/6pm).
