urgent please. what do you give your dcs with pancakes? any savoury ideas that are quick?

otherwise it will have to be honey but not the most nutritious tea in teh world (though they have alreayd had main meal today i am not worried about giving them something else quite main meal ish???

no sugar in pancake mixture then ham and grated cheese on top.Fold in half and serve.

White sauce, fold in cheese/tuna/ham/peas/sweetcorn/whatever, splat into pancakes, roll up, bake in oven or grill for a little while with a bit more cheese on top.

Grated cheese and chopped tomatoes. Favourite meal in our house

Make a cornedbeef hash - fried onions, diced cooked potatoes, corned beef - or fried mince, chopped tomatoes, dash of tomato puree, worcester sauce, seasoning, roll the pancakes up like wraps, grated cheese on top, grill to melt cheese. You can treat them like cannelloni.

If you have more time, and want to do something as a main meal another time, make the meat mixture (fairly dry), wrap the pancakes around it like little parcels, dip in beaten egg and then breadcrumbs, fry till golden. This is really yummy. I make it with some chilli powder for the adults as a Boxing Day supper.
