Wanting to buy a slow cooker, are there any brands or models that are better than others or are they more or less the same. Also I will be cooking meals for 4 - 2 adults and 2 children so what capacity will I need? TIA

We are a family of 5 and we have the AWT one from Argos. Bought purely for size and affordability, being part of the AWT range was just a coincidence as I don't buy endorsed stuff.

I have just bought a 6 litre one from Amazon, from Morphy richards...it is HUGE. it would be good if you wanted to cook doubles of everything and freeze, but might be too big otherwise.
