Im making Chocolate and Chili mousse this morning and am following this recipe Look at ((www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/food_and_drink/recipes/article2392905.ece))

Do I disgard the chili's fromt he butter before melting with he chocolate?

Sorry that was a bit short, once the chillis have infused the butter thats all the heat and flavour from them you need otherwise your mousse will be to hot and overpowering.

Im sorry just read the recipe again and it does say to disgard.

Ive not slept all night worrying about makign this!!!! Weve been invited to friends who are amazing cooks I offered to make this and along with stressing that my 4 year old goes to sleep at their house Ive been dreaming about this blooming mousse all night!!!

also one more question - I dont have an electric hand whisk but I do have one of the Braun hand held stick blender thingys that seem to do everything- do you think this will be ok to use for the egg yolks bit?
