I havent had my breadmaker out for a year. Got it out today and the instructions/recipe booklet was not inside . I have been onto the Kenwood customer services website and ordered a new one (for the updated model because my model is now obsolete) but does anyone have one to hand in the mean time I so I can ask a few questions?

TIA

DG - lol, no you weren't rambling! It was the 'brilliant' bit that reminded me of sketch.

Set the programme, then before you push start, use the timer button to alter the finish time. It's a bit odd, but if you set the basic time of 2h45m, then you add increments of 10m so if you want to delay it by an hour, you push the timer button 3 times and the display will read 3h45m. Then you hit start and the ':' between hours and minutes will start flashing to let you know it's been listening to you.

This is from memory so I hope I'm right!

Thanks Twink!!!

I made a basic rapid loaf today and it was yummy! But the real piece de resistance for me is waking up to the smell of freshly baked bread, so I will try what you suggested. Many thanks
