Does anyone have a good apple pie recipie

My dh has been going on about having homemade deserts for ages.

Anyone know of an easy to follow recipe?

Im no domestic goddess so the easier the better.

I buy the ready made shortcrust pastry and trim it to fit the pie dish cover with baking paper or greaseproof and bake for about 15 minutes. Weigh the paper down with some bread crusts or somethng so it doesn't rise. Then peel, core and chop apples into a pan with a lttle bit of water some cinnamon and maybe a little brown sugar if the apples aren't very sweet. When the apples are slightly soft (but not too soggy) then bung them in the pie dish. put another bit of patry on the top make a whole for the steam to escape. Brush the lid with some milk and spinkle with a bit of brown sugar. Then in the oven for another 20/25 minutes! Et voila!!
