surely just melted chocolate and rice crispies?

BibiThree · 28/12/2008 18:24

Don't you just melt some chocolate and mix with the rice crispies? That's what i've always done. Maybe google rice crispie cakes?

ilove · 28/12/2008 18:24

^ WSS!

SnowOfHands · 28/12/2008 18:24

rice crispies mixed with melted chocolate if you want to be really basic.

I like to add golden syrup, some crushed ginger biscuits, dried fruit like raisins and pineapple etc. I make it up as I go along according to what is in the cupboard.

MrsBadger · 28/12/2008 18:25

melt mars bars

stier in rice kirspies till desired texture

spoon into paper case (or press into tray) and chill

mrsdisorganised · 28/12/2008 18:25

I cheat using a bit of butter, mars bars and a couple of tbsp of golden syrup...

SnowOfHands · 28/12/2008 18:26

Mars Bars good too. Or mini marshmallows.

See, possibilities are endless.

CoolBitch · 28/12/2008 18:26

What does WSS mean?

Do you melt mars bars in Microwave?

OP posts:
BibiThree · 28/12/2008 18:26

OMG! Mars Bars!!!!!

mrsdisorganised · 28/12/2008 18:28

lol Bibi!

I don't just put them in saucepan...if they go over the 'melted' texture just add a tiny bit of milk to make it smooth again....

SnowOfHands · 28/12/2008 18:28

I wouldn't use the microwave. My microwave is like a confused yet angry old man. Doesn't know what setting it's on but pulverises things anyway.

Chop up and melt in a bowl over a boiling pan of water. Don't let bowl touch the hot water.

mrsdisorganised · 28/12/2008 18:29

I don't microwave...sorry didn't make sense

CoolBitch · 28/12/2008 18:32

Great thanks.

Are there such things as healthy biscuits and stuff that I can make. She comes in starving, rumages through the cupboards and ends up eating rubbish. No good trying to give her fruit or raisins, she isnt having any of that. Thought I might be able to decieve her by making something healthy that she wont know is healthy IYKIM

i put a dollop of butter in a pan and melt it, add a dollop of golden syrup and a load of chocolate powder, melt it altogether then stir in the rice krispies or cornflakes (or whatever cereal is to be used)

sometimes i add raisins

then pop a spoonful in each cake holder and leave to cool (if i can)

SnowOfHands · 28/12/2008 18:36
