3 kilo chicken, gas oven. How long and what temp please?

Thank you No good at conversions (or cooking) and whatnot.

3kg is 6.6 pounds. The rule is 20 minutes per pound and sometimes 20 minutes extra. It should be on at gas mark 7.

Here is how to see if it's cooked etc.

thank you it is now in oven with a generous smothering of butter under the skin and some streaky bacon on top.

I should add taht I ahve cooked a chicken before but I usually just bung it in and hope for the best but I want today's to be really nice and not all dry
