Boil them thoroughly for 8 weeks.

You've missed the boat I'm afraid, but it's not too late for Easter.

3 minutes

Myrrhcy · 24/12/2008 14:58

hahaha!

Not having them this year but I usually steam our veg - I reckon about 15 minutes (I prefer them slightly under done though)

Chaotica · 24/12/2008 14:59

Boiling, that is. (Drain then put them in some melted butter with pepper and (optional) chestnuts/peanuts/pine nuts...)

Fivesetsofschoolfees · 24/12/2008 15:05

I steam them for 8 minutes.

Snowstorm · 24/12/2008 15:09

Thank you for that everyone. So, either boil them for 3 minutes or steam them for 8-15 minutes then!

IPityTheFool - thank you for yours!!! DH thorough appreciated that ... if he can get through the Christmas meal without using the adjective 'disgusting' with regard to said sprouts, then I'll be amazed. He's under strict orders not to comment on what I'm going to present the DC with ... after all ... they don't yet remember that they don't like them from last year! I love them ... very, very tasty

Happy Xmas!
