Yule log recipe help - self raising or plain flour???

I'm following this recipe which I've done in the past, but can't remember if I used plain flour or self raising. The recipe doesn't state which:

Which do you think I should use? I've just bunged it in the oven with plain flour but am wondering if it's going to turn out a disaster.

I think plain is ok - the air in the cake comes mostly from the whisking of the eggs and sugar.

Thanks Angels - here's hoping it turns out ok!

I've never had a problem, as long as the eggs and sugar are whisked properly you can't go wrong. A genoese sponge is almost the same as a swiss roll but has very little (if any) flour added so you'll be fine.
