Have googled but can't find any info on turkey crowns. Ours is 6lb and haven't a clue how long to cook it for!!!

Do I have to cover it?

Isn't it still 20 mins per lb plus 20? So 2hrs 20 ish?

I thought it may have been different per pound as was crown and not full turkey? Perhaps not!!

Thank you

Not sure to be honest - stick it in and then do the skewer test to see if the juices run clear after about 90 minutes or so (while you're basting) is probably best

I have a stuffed turkey crown that weighs 2100g. The instructions say to cook uncovered for 1 hour, then cover with foil and cook for a further 50 minutes, before standing for 30 minutes. Electric oven 190, fan oven 170, gas mark 5.

2100g is just over four and a half pounds.

try this website you type in the size of your turkey, full, crown whatever and it'll tell you it's cooking time... I was told anything over 4 kg it's 90 minutes plus 20 min per kg if less than 4kg it's 70 minutes plus 20 mins per kg

For example a 5kg turkey will take approx 3 hrs and 10 mins to roast at Temperature 180°C (Fan) / 375°F / Gas Mark 5, your whole bird or joint
