What do I need to do the Nigella Bacon, Chestnuts and Sprouts Recipe?

Can anyone help with the recipe?

Was it maple syrup or butter or something suchlike?

DH has bought me the book for Xmas but I need to get in the extra ingedients tomorrow whilst he is at work and he has already wrapped it up!

don't know, but i have accidently ended up with 5kg of sprouts (for 5 people) so i am going to need a lot of sprout recipes
